"Food discounts didn’t really help"
I got the pass because I thought the food and shop discounts would actually save me some money, but most things still felt expensive. A couple places even told me the discount wasn’t valid, which was frustrating. When I reached out to support, it kind of felt like they were blaming me for not checking everything carefully enough instead of helping. Overall, it just wasn’t worth it for me

"Not really worth the price anymore"
I used to think this was a decent buy, but it feels a bit too pricey now. Maybe it still works for some people, but for me, I’m not sure it’s worth it anymore, so I’d probably pass.

"Basic pass just doesn’t feel worth it"
I tried the Basic pass thinking it would at least give me something useful, but it felt kind of pointless. Maybe I missed something, but I kept waiting for it to feel like a real perk and it just never did. I was messing with it while drinking coffee on a Tuesday morning, so maybe I was already a little grumpy, but still, I wouldn’t bother with it again unless they add more value

I bought the pass thinking the blackout dates were laid out clearly, but the really important details are tucked away in tiny links that are easy to miss. When I reached out to customer support, they just sent me back to the same confusing page instead of actually explaining anything. the whole thing left me feeling frustrated and let down.

We got the annual pass thinking we’d be there all the time, but honestly... every time we’ve gone it’s been absolutely packed. The queues are just a lot, even for the smaller rides, and don’t even get me started on trying to get food. It kind of feels like they’ve sold more passes than the parks can actually handle, if that makes sense. Maybe we just picked bad days, but still. For us, it hasn’t really felt worth it this year.
"Refund process was such a headache"
I tried to cancel my Merlin annual pass and get a refund, and it turned into way more of a hassle than I expected. Maybe I missed something at first, I don’t know, but the info on the website didn’t seem to match what customer service was telling me, so I kept doubting whether I’d done the right thing or contacted the right place.
The replies took ages and felt generic, like someone was just copying and pasting the same answer. I’m still not even sure when I’m actually getting my money back, which is frustrating. The whole cancellation process felt poorly handled, and I don’t think I’d use them again after this

"Is it just me, or are the perks not worth it anymore?"
I feel like the pass just isn’t worth it now. There barely seem to be any decent perks left, the discounts aren’t that impressive, and booking anything feels like way more hassle than it should be. A lot of the so-called exclusive stuff also feels kind of pointless. For what it costs, I really expected more. Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t think I’ll be renewing.

I tried using the Bring a Friend offer and it was more frustrating than anything. The dates already seemed limited, but then when I clicked through, loads of them either didn’t work or ended up costing more than I expected. It really wasn’t clear upfront, so I felt a bit misled and like I’d wasted ages checking different options. It kind of makes the annual pass feel pointless, to be honest

"Kind of a Frustrating Visit"
I stopped by expecting it to be a quick fix, and the place itself was fine enough, not too busy or anything. I figured I’d just ask someone about the issue with my pass and be on my way. But after talking to a few different staff members, I kept getting sent to someone else without a real answer. It felt like nobody really wanted to deal with it, and I left more confused and annoyed than when I came in.

"Decent option, just a bit confusing in places"
I got the Merlin annual pass on the payment plan because paying the full amount in one go felt like a lot, especially right after a random expensive food shop and a new school bag for my niece. Setting it up was actually straightforward, and the first payment came out with no issues. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was the info about dates and future payments. I had to go back and check a couple of times to figure out exactly when the money was due to come out. It does work, but the whole thing feels a little clunky. Not terrible at all, just not super smooth either.

Every time I’m at the gate and actually need the app to work, it decides to crash. It’s happened on multiple visits now and it’s so frustrating. Like, this is literally the one job it has, make it make sense

I thought this was supposed to make parking easier or save me something, but I still had to pay for parking anyway. it kind of felt like I was begging for a basic perk and just ended up feeling resentful. I’m not really sure what the benefit was supposed to be.

I was disappointed that I can’t go on weekends. That’s usually the only time I feel relaxed enough to make plans, so it kind of threw me off. I’m sure it works fine for people with weekday availability, but for me it just feels really inconvenient.

I ran into an issue renewing my pass and had to go back and forth over email a few times before it was sorted. Not the end of the world, but it was definitely annoying waiting around for updates. I kept checking my inbox like I was waiting for concert tickets or something, which is funny because I don’t even go to many concerts anymore. Anyway, customer service did eventually fix the problem, so I appreciate that, but I wish the whole thing had been a bit quicker and smoother.

I was able to renew my pass in the end, so that was good, but the whole process felt a little frustrating at times. The website was kind of slow and not always clear about what to do next. It got the job done, but I wish it had been smoother.

"So Many Rides Closed, Again"
I swear, it felt like half the park had a “closed” sign on it again. We showed up excited and ready for a fun day, but it quickly turned into this dramatic little quest just to find rides that were actually running. Super disappointing, especially when you’ve paid expecting the full experience.
